I'm looking for an option to delete mails from a specific mailsender, silently. If i create on at the input filter rules it sends back a notification to the sender but the sender doesn't exist! Sad

Is there an option to simple pipe a mail to /dev/null?

And i dont want this mail's in the archive either! I have 10 tousends of mail's from a sender in boxes and in the archive and have to delete them manually. Sad

If you select the action "Discard message" there is no notification to the sender. More info on configuring message filters are described in KB 1831.

OK the discard rule is working but i found all the rubbish coming in this night in the archiv! So it's still a problem to get hunderts of stupid spams in my archiv daily and i have to delete this manualy. Sad

The discard rule have to work _before_ the archiv is used. And yes i have not selected the archving spam and virus checkbox on the archiv and backup tab!

Have you set up your rules in the 'receiving rules'?
