For outgoing calls, I can not get the extensions to show up in the caller ID.

I am getting desperate... In the "Outgoing Route" dialog, I have tried all 3 options without any effect. Even if I set a default number for all extensions, that number does not show up in the caller ID.
I have also tried to play around with the outgoing SIP header fields ("SIP details" tab in the external interface dialog), and tried using CALLER_NUMBER_ORIG instead of EXTERNAL_NUMBER. No difference.

In the debug log, I see a few suspicious lines:

[2017-01-12 23:55:51.720] {ast} asterisk[6412][pbx_variables.c:381:ast_str_retrieve_variable]: Result of 'CALLER_NUMBER_ORIG' is '210'
[2017-01-12 23:55:51.720] {ast} asterisk[6412][routingModule.h:134:routing_func_outgoing_read]: Routing outgoing result (route=66,number=210) = [].
[2017-01-12 23:55:51.721] {ast} asterisk[6412][pbx_variables.c:708:pbx_substitute_variables_helper_full]: Function KERIO_ROUTING_OUTGOING(66,210) result is ''
[2017-01-12 23:55:51.721] {ast} asterisk[6412][pbx.c:2825:pbx_extension_helper]: Launching 'Set'
[2017-01-12 23:55:51.721] {ast} asterisk[6412][pbx.c:2832:pbx_extension_helper]: Executing [66@sub-outgoingRoute:10] Set("SIP/210_webrtc-00000008", "CALLER_NUMBER=") in new stack

I dont understand the logs, but 210 is my extension from which I initiated the call and it feels suspicious that CALLER_NUMBER appears to be empty, doesn't it??
