Hi,

Trying to setup a Grandstream DP750 base unit & DP720 handset.

It's detected and provisioned as "Grandstream (unknown) but it is not registering.

Are there any new Grandstream provisioning modules for Operator that include this model? Or does anybody know how to configure this phone manually?

Thanks

Hi,
i do not know your phone, but usually only base station is provisioned and you must also pair its provisioned lines with attached headsets (this is how e.g. Snom works). This cam be done in PHONE andministration (not on Operator's side). Maybe you have similar problem...

Thanks, I configured the SIP information manually on the DP720 handset, via the web interface of the DP750 and it now works. Not certain why Operator can't do that, as it manages to configure the DP750 base unit.

Mainly due to missing information...

Operator does not know how many headsets you have attached to base and how you want to ring on them.

So there is no configuration window like <e.g.> set line 1 and line 2 to ring on headset A, line 3 will ring on headset B and line 1 and line 4 will ring on headset C </e.g.>

Of course, if you have one base with only one handset, it looks weird that handset is not configured...
