hi all,

i just got a nice question,

is it possible to make a short code *9 for example to pick up ANY of the incoming calls, (without pointing towards groups)

Setup for this customer is as following,

1 incoming line, to Group A, after 5 sec delay to Group B, after 5 sec delay to Group C,
Group A has user 1,2,3 in it.
Group B has user 1,2,3,4,5,6 in it
Group C has user 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 in it

if user 1 till 7 arent in the office, and some one calls, user 8 does not want to run to user 1's desk.
so user 8 will use **A (so to speak) but! the call already went to B,

is there a way to do **Everything? or pickup a call from A,B or C?

hope this makes any sense Razz

thanks in advance!

We support two pickup modes:

1) "Call Pickup" is based on "Call Pickup Rooms" - so you must be member of same room as ringing phone
2) "Direct call pickup" is based on ext. number which you want to transfer

Pickup any call just by code maybe is not good idea as there can be many phones on various places and "blind" pickup should be lottery...

how about using call pickup rooms? Add all extensions to a room and then pick them up by dialing the room number.

Martin, Filip,

thanks your your awnsers,

the pickup rooms, do they "work?" next to the current Que's?

aside from all que,s and groups. i can add all extentions to a ringing group, and everyone can pick up a call from that group? (as long as they are members ofcourse)
