Hi,

we have problems with the folder structures of some of our mailboxes. When I configure a mailbox for two users, the folder structure of user B is often different from the structure of user A (main user). Both configurations are done as Exchange configs.

for example:

User A:

INBOX/Completed/folder1
INBOX/TODO/folder2

is for user B:

INBOX/Completed
folder1
TODO/folder2

Any idea how to fix this?

Is this two users access a third shared mail box, or one user accessing the other's primary mail box?

We are seeing the exact same issue with multiple users, all on OLK2010:
The user sharing his folders sees subfolders underneath the inbox, in Connect as well.
Several users accessing his Inbox are seeing the subfolders directly beneath the Inbox:

User sharing his Inbox:
Inbox (root)
- Subfolder 1
- Subfolder 2

Users accessing the shared Inbox:
- Inbox (root)
- Subfolder 1
- Subfolder 2

This is causing massive issues in day to day business.

Any resolution to that?

Sub folders do not belong in the inbox and should be moved out. If left alone each folder will keep a connection open to the server.

Ok MacLab I know this, but is was an example. I could have used following a s an example

Primary user:

INBOX
FOLDER (root)
-Subfolder1
-Subfolder2

Next user/config:

INBOX
FOLDER
SUBFOLDER1
SUBFOLDER2

MacLab may I ask, why they 'do not belong' ? Confused

have a client who has a single sub folder, that was working fine under Yosemite 10.10.5

INBOX/subfolder

but having just migrated them to a NEW Mac running Sierra, had to run the Connect Account Assistant again

and now it fails to display that sub folder (even though its visible via Webmail)

TIA
