I had winroute 5 working great (finally). Upgraded to v6, and all the sudden everybody starts complaining that they can't access many web pages. They can't log into their hotmail accounts, the can't go to many sites with activex or javascript, including windows update, with of course is critical. Mostly they just get a completely blank screen with 'done' at the bottom.

The ONLY way I have found to correct it is to create a rule that bypasses the HTTP protocol and add the computer's IP address to the rule. Then they can go to the sites they need to, and use windows update. Of course I don't want to do that. Why would an upgrade change things so much?

DNS freaked out as well, I had to replace all hosts in my rules with IP addresses instead of computer names or they all the sudden wouldn't work. I also had to put the IP address of the firewall computer in the 'winroute server name' field on the web interface tab in advanced settings, because many computers were unable to resolve the firewall computer name properly (a ping by computer name would actually return one of the ip addresses I have set aside for the windows VPN instead of the bound IP address of the server. I didn't install the Kerio VPN).

Can anybody tell me if there is any way to fix this, and if not, how to revert back to my previous version?

I'm sorry to report the bugs are still there in KWF 6.0.11 ...

Also, the DNS service on our windows 2000 has been going ballistic lately (post KWF 6.0.9) and I than ran into hte DNS trouble you describe above. This Kerio firewall just doesn't make sense, we will be using some firewall appliance (with VPN support) instead...
