Our Kerio mailserver is listed on spamcop RBL and I'd like to get it off asap since we're blocked by all spamcop users. A bit tricky to find out exactly for WHAT reasons but I guess I got it. Our mailserver received this:

Spam Log:
[06/Mar/2017 10:28:43] Message rejected as malware spam, From: geh.ahead@spermageile-schlampe.de, To: some.employee<_at_>mydomain.de, Sender IP:, Subject: Hey, Message size: 2946

On this the kerio sent back a bounce message:

Mail Log:
[06/Mar/2017 10:28:42] Recv: Queue-ID: 58bd2bc9-00025515, Service: SMTP, From: <geh.ahead@spermageile-schlampe.de>, To: <some.employee@mydomain.de>, Size: 2946, Sender-Host:, Subject: Hey, Msg-Id: <004001d29664$01cd8282$d3a2ab85$<_at_>spermageile-schlampe.de>

[06/Mar/2017 10:28:43] Recv: Queue-ID: 58bd2bcb-00025516, Service: Antispam, From: <>, To: <geh.ahead@spermageile-schlampe.de>, Size: 908, Report: bounce to sender, Subject: Nachricht als Spam erkannt: Hey, Msg-Id: <2733838961-404508672<_at_>mailserver.mydomain.de>

[06/Mar/2017 10:28:45] Sent: Queue-ID: 58bd2bcb-00025516, Recipient: <geh.ahead@spermageile-schlampe.de>, Result: delayed, Status: 4.4.1 421 Too busy; try again later, Remote-Host: mail.spermageile-schlampe.de, Msg-Id: <2733838961-404508672<_at_>mailserver.mydomain.de>

BUT within Kerio I set to NOT send bounce messages back to sender once the block score limit is reached. I guess this is some integrated BitDefender stuff what caused here the bounce?

AV Settings: Sophos enabled, Deliver the message with malicious Code removed, Deliver the original message with a warning prefixed.

So nothing should send out bounces for Spam.

What kerio setting causes the bounce send back in this spam case?

Thanks & kind regards!

I guess I solved it: There's another setting for bounces in the custom rules. No idea why this was checked and what this got to do with these "spam malware"...
