Hello,

inside the Kerio Connect client there is a random color for each user profile (in case no profile image is set). For example, John Doe's contact image will be displayed with a blue background with his initials "JD".

Is there a way to change those colors?

The reasons why I would need to:

These colors could be used to see, which person works in which department. For example, all people working in the sales department will be colored yellow, etc.

Another reason is that some persons complained about the color they got. Some of them got a pink color, which looks a little bit weird, especially in case of a male manager...

Thanks in advance!

It is not possible. Color is determined by name of the person. If you want to change it, create an image with a color you want and user initials in it and upload it as a photo to contact.

Okay, I see.

That would be quite an effort, as it affects many accounts.

However, there is a way to get rid of the horrible colors such as pink by using this trick:

The issue is in German language, but the relevant information is language independent.
