Hi

Total new to this and am still trying to find my feet!

Using Kerio Operator in a small office environment.

We have 3 Snom 765 phones and three SIP accounts.

I have set the phones up so that each has three extensions (so each phone can answer any call and use any line to make a call).

The problem I am having is call routing on the outbound call - I would like the user to select the extension that they wish to use using the phone 4-way rocker switch (ie highlight the extension on the phone's screen) and then dial the required PSTN number.

My problem is that Kerio always defaults to the SIP account at the top of the "Routing of outgoing calls list".

I have found a way around this by getting the user to type the extension they wish to use for outgoing calls and then the PSTN number. This does work, but isn't very convenient.

Anyone got any ideas?

In the properties of the outgoing routes, select the checkbox "Use route only for numbers defined in exceptions" and in the exceptions tab specify those extensions (and associated phone number) that should use the route.
Note that the routes in the "routing of outgoing calls" are processed in order from top to bottom. So these routes that apply to defined extensions based on the exceptions should go on the top of the list.
