There is a knowledgebase article that describes exactly what I want to do. It is kb 1536 (sorry, can't post a link).

This unfortunately only works with Cisco / Linksys SPA phones.

Has anyone been able to reproduce this functionality using a yealink phone or a snom phone.

To summarise the desired functionality:

1. 2 parties talking on the phone conference in a third party, using the conference button on the phone.

2. The originating party decides to add a 4th party to the conference, presses the conf button, dials the 4th party and adds them in to the conference

3.This can be repeated x number of times.

What this is doing is linking the conference button to the creation of a dynamic conference and therefore allows the user to create conferences on the fly.

Would be grateful if you could let me know how this can be made to work with a Yealink phone.
