Im in doubt. When you prevent a MAC to access the network (in MAC filter page) are you preventing it to traverse Internet only, or, more than this, you prevent it to access the local network too? That is, the MAC filter prevents the traffic of all kind so that the device cannot communicate with other device in the local LAN?

It should only be preventing those MACs from being processed by Control. Essentially, Kerio drops all matching MACs at the NIC (although it almost certainly occurs at the OS level).

Any other bridging (L2 or LAN) functions that don't require traversal of Control should continue to work. If you are looking to implement MAC filters to stop LAN traffic, you will have to implement those in your L2 switch of choice.

That was what I thought.

Thank you very much.
