If someone externally calls into our main desk and then the receptionist forwards this call to an internal extension, the original phone number doesn't show up on the person whom the call is being forwarded to's phone display (the main reception extension shows up on the screen instead).

Any idea how we can make it forward the originator of the call's number through to our internal desk phones?

We kind of want to do this:

http://kb.kerio.com/product/kerio-operator/provider-setup/di splaying-the-caller-number-when-transferring-and-redirecting -calls-1984.html

But for internal extensions.

The KB article you referenced seems to be what you are trying to do. Have you enabled the diversion header option and confirmed with your telephone service provider that they support it?

If you look at the second green box from the top you'll see that the KB article states "This configuration does not affect internal calls."

Which it doesn't.

The KB does fix the issue of the original caller ID being transferred when the call is redirected by the Ringing Rules, Find me on these Numbers, but not when the transfer is an interactive process, i.e. outside caller calls User A and User A transfers call to User B.

This might be a setting you need to enable on the phone that is receiving the transferred call. For example http://wiki.snom.com/Settings/show_diversion

Is the receptionist transferring the call as blind or attended? Apparently it may retain the original caller ID if it is a blind transfer.

There is no blind transfer option on a Cisco 7975, but there is on a Cisco 7960, which when used shows the caller ID.

Unfortunately the receptionist has a Cisco 7975. I've already got an outstanding support call with you from last month for missing conference functionality on Cisco 7975's and that isn't going so well....
