in the past, Kerio Connect used the Sophos anti-virus engine to check the processed mails. Due to the fact, that our mailserver is not connected to the internet (internal network, only), I used the Kerio Connect API to manually perform the Sophos update as follows (running automatically via cronjob):
  1. Set temporary internet access.
  2. Triggered Sophos anti-virus definition update via Kerio Connect API.
  3. Cut off the internet connection again.

That was it. Not the best solution if you want to avoid internet access, but worked as a charm.

Now, I want/need to do that with Bitdefender. Unfortunately, I cannot download the Kerio Connect API. When I open the Developer Zone page (http://www.kerio.com/learn-community/developer-zone/details) and click "kerio-api-php", the link behind it points to the same page I'm already on, same with the "Downloads & Documentation" menu entry.

Where can I get the current API or is there a command to trigger the definition update?

By the way, I only need to access the functions of Bitdefender anti-virus (not anti-spam), due to the fact, that our mails already go filtered by our provider.

If relevant, I just updated my Kerio Connect installation to 9.2.3 (April, 27th 2017) on CentOS 7.3 (x64).

Thanks in advance!
