I've just added Kerio Antispam advanced filter and I've found that it is marking a lot of our own outgoing emails as ** SPAM **.

These are all emails which are generated automatically by a proprietary system on our network which sends payment reminders, feedback requests and so on, via SMTP.

Is there any way that I can find out what it is about three emails that Kerio Antispam / Bitdefender doesn't like?

Thanks for any help

Cheers

James

Hi macjimbo,

Try to uncheck "Enable rating of messages sent from trustworthy relay agents defined in SMTP relay options" in "Spam Filter" section. Then add the IP of your proprietary SMTP system in the IP adress group of "SMTP Server > Relay Control > Users from IP address group" and check it.

Keep in mind that with this particular setup your proprietary SMTP system will have open relay access to your Kerio Connect.

Thanks Mika-SIN, good tip.

The proprietary SMTP system is on the same network (actually the same computer) as Kerio Connect and it's already in the relay control IP address group. So unchecking 'enable rating of...' should solve the issue locally.

However what bothers me is that the messages are getting flagged as spammy, so any recipient using Bitdefender (or similar) may not receive these messages.

Is there a way of finding out what Bitdefender / Kerio AntiSpam doesn't like about them?

Thanks again

James
