Hello

Question:
Is there a way to adjust the message size limit for just one external mail address?

Situation:
We have a customer who needs to send us huge files he doesn't want to transfer via WeTransfer or DropBox or something like that.

We have set the SMTP message size limit to 25MB and that works fine in most cases as there are usually only three or four messages a month that exceed this limit and those are either "not necessary" or come through a one click hoster if they were important.

Now we have a customer who doesn't want to use a one click hosting so we need to make adjustments to comply with his mentality as he is an important customer (and knows this).

Wish for Solution
Create a white list of addresses that are allowed to ignore the message size limit.

Regard

Hello,
You can use message filters to reject messages based on size. In this case, you're able to make exceptions based on conditions such as the sender address. Note that you will probably need to disable the size restriction in other areas and use only message filters for rejecting large messages.
