Is is possible to connect a Kerio Softphone to Operator directly when it is behind a firewall? We have a Kerio Operator box behind a Draytek 3900, but the only way I've been able to get the softphone to connect is by using a dial up VPN first which obviously isn't ideal. I've opened ports 5060-5061 and 10000-19999 and this gets the softphone registered on Operator but there is no audio on either end when I make a call, the call is registered on Operator though as I can see it in call history.

Are there any other ports that need to be opened and any extra config on Operator that I need to do to get this working?

Thanks

I've put Operator in the DMZ and can make internal calls now fine, registering with the external IP of operator, but still no audio when trying to make an external call.

Appears to be a codec issue. I've enabled the OPUS codec on the SIP trunk and I can now make outgoing calls but the call quality is terrible on the receiving end, I can hear the other person fine however. Bandwidth is not an issue at either end, i'm trying this on Wifi and also 4g with decent signal. Also this works perfect if i create a VPN and register to the system internally.

Has anyone been able to successfully set up the Kerio operator softphone without a VPN? From my testing, even with a signed & paid for certificate installed, it just won't work.
