Dear all,

we are wondering if it is possible to limit the access and possibility to add IMAP/ActiveSync accounts to "authorized" clients.

For example:
Company owned iPhone and MacBook will be added to a "whitelist" from the administrator, access to Kerio Connect via all protocols possible.
Personal iPhone without MDM integration is not on said list, so no connection and set up locally possible.

I read about it for Office365, that you can restrict the access via client certificates.
Anything like that (or even simpler!) possible with Kerio Connect.

If it helps: we are using Kerio Control as well, but I didnt find any MAC-Filter for services or portforwardings...

Thank you very much, any input is highly appreciated.

Thank you, but then the user is still able to set up his or her account on a none company owned device, correct?

In this case the only solution I can imagine is to set the password and not share it with the user. Then you would configure the account on the device before giving it to the user.

...which can be accessed in clear text via keychain on the Mac.
So there is no solution. Bummer.
