Is it possible in any way to automatically apply or unapply traffic policy rules remotely?

The situation is, I have a few applications on a client PC on the lan that require it to be put into a DMZ (well, winroutes manually made approximation of a dmz anyway). Obviously it's a risk to leave the machine in DMZ all the time, so what I have to do is use the remote admin console to disable / enable the rule for the DMZ, as and when I start the applications (mostly finicky games).

It's not much of a hassle, but still a particularly unelegant solution. Is there a way of actioning commands on winroute without physically clicking through the interface, e.g. a command line method whereby a batch file on the client PC could automatically logon to the winroute engine running on the server PC, apply DMZ, start the application which requires DMZ, and when the application finishes, unapply the DMZ rule.

Well??? Smile
