Im hosting my own email. However, I noticed that in KWF v6, it is the first one who accepts SMTP transaction (In and Out) and save the received files to \tmp folder for scanning. Even If I disabled AntiVirus Scanning for SMTP, POP3, HTTP, and FTP it still saving files in \tmp. This really giving me troubles as it makes the legit SMTP transaction with Mail server inactive (timed out).

My question is... How can I stop KWFv6 in accepting SMTP transaction? I want my Mail server to handle SMTP and POP3. And leave FTP and HTTP to KWF as what it did in v5 Embarassed .

Please help!!!

Regards,
Anthony

Figured out how to fix this up:

You need to disable the Protocol Inspector for SMTP and POP3.
Configuration --> Definitions --> Services --> SMTP --> set the Inspector to "NONE"
Configuration --> Definitions --> Services --> POP3 --> set the Inspector to "NONE"

Anthony

Thanks to myself... Laughing

Hey Anthony,

That just helped me out as I have exactly the same problem. Or should I say had?

Many Thanks!
