Hi,

In the locked announcement of the GFI team (http:// forums.kerio.com/t/33428//0/9fccc9bdbf46919d98230c724e299676 /), it is written:

Quote:
We are working with the engineering team to address these issues and will provide updates as soon as possible. I apologize for the inconvenience this release has caused for many and we are working hard to fix the outstanding issues.

What does ASAP mean ?

As a lot of Kerio users, I've more than 100 mailbox and I can't imagine to clear cache on each.

If anyone of GFI team can tell us if ASAP mean 1 week or 6 months, it will be nice for all of us.
Following your answer, we will know if we have to consider an alternative to Kerio quickly or not.
If we don't have an answer, it will unfortunately confirm what many people think after the acquisition of Kerio by GFI (and that would be very sad because we have been collaborating for many years)

In advance, thanks a lot.

It means they will get back to people when they feel like it .... and then increase the costs when your renewals are due!

Seen this behaviour before by companies that buy out others. They think they can do a better job of a product, then realise it's more hassle than it is worth so start putting out updates that don't really work but because people are invested they think they can get away with it.
Then as people start moving to alternative products they then have the excuse that it is not financially viable to continue with it.

And GFI specifically, has done this before. The first example that jumps to mind is Vipre Anti-Virus. Sunbelt was on target to make a decent AV and GFI bought them and it crashed and burned fast. Being relegated to being pushed to unsuspecting customers on QVC.

Just to let you know, 9.2.6 patch 1 (3851) is out today.

I tested this quickly, and it looks fine on first sight.

The release notes make no mention to a fix for Outlook 2016. I think I will avoid upgrading until this is fixed.
