Judging by the lack of communication from GFI regarding this fiasco of a release the only real option is to downgrade.
It's ridiculous that this release has undergone even less real testing than the previous ones given the issues that have been previously introduced.
Yet another example of a corporation being more interested in money than providing the product that people are actually paying for!

I am installing for a new customer now and luckily have not gone past 9.2.5. However I have advised my distributor through my account representative that we are not going to recommend Kerio to any other customer at this time until the company introduces a MUCH improved way of communication with their technical support people, a conversation of what is going off the rails so badly with the Kerio product line (otherwise we have nothing to do with GFI) with the resellers, and overall improvements in dealings with GFI. I had sent an email 2 weeks ago for another opportunity to do with Operator and to date there has not been any reply to the email. Obviously they are using an inferior mail product or worse Kerio Connect 9.2.6!

I would advise every reseller to tell their distributor that they are NO LONGER tolerating this situation and I would like to hear of good alternatives at this time.

David.

Just to let you know, 9.2.6 patch 1 (3851) is out today.

I have tested this on Windows and on first sight, it seems to work ok (but of course this is too early to make a final statement).

I have tested this on 9.2.6 patch 1 on Firefox 64-bit version 59.0.2.

I can't reproduce this. What I did:

Click on "Compose" ==> New message opens inline

Click on "To" field and add recipient

Click on "Subject" field and add subject

Click on Email Body and start typing message ==> works

Click somewhere else (e.g. "Subject" field) and then click back in the body again ==> still works.

Do you have a way where you can reproduce this 100%? Or is this random?

Thanks.

It is completely random and also does not affect all users.
We have users on windows using Chrome 66 who have the issue and users that don't. I use the same version number of chrome on a mac with no issues at all.

Some users can switch to a different browser and the issue does not occur, for others it doesn't matter what browser or which machine.
Tried re-indexing the mailbox of one particular user with no affect

You can reproduce this error by clicking (not moving) or deleting an entered "to" address.
The message body freezes.

You can fixing it as follows (Tested only on Firefox 60.0.1 64-bit):

Go to the Kerio installation path. Examppe: C:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer\web\webmail

1. IMPORTANT! Do a backup of "webmail2.js"
2. Open the file "webmail2.js" and search for "i.addCls("x-drag-drop-fix");"
3. Add a new row after "i.addCls("x-drag-drop-fix");"
4. Enter the following "i.removeCls("x-drag-drop-fix");"

You should see this:

    _fixIFrameDragDrop: function(e) {
        var t, i, s, n;
        t = document.getElementsByTagName("iframe");
        n = t.length;
        for (s = 0; n > s; s++) {
            i = Ext.fly(t[s]);
            if (e) {
                if (i.hasCls("x-drag-drop-fix")) {
                    i.removeCls("x-drag-drop-fix");
                }
            } else {
                if (!i.hasCls("x-drag-drop-fix")) {
                    i.addCls("x-drag-drop-fix");
		    i.removeCls("x-drag-drop-fix");
                }
            }
        }
    },

5. Safe the file.

Refresh your Kerio Connect page in your browser and enjoy.
Hope this helps!
