Winroute 6.0.5 Win2003

Antivirus: McAfee or Symantec Scan Engine

POP3 via NAT

1. receive email from client computers via POP3 (without SSL). Some emails consist files with virus (not blocked by KWF and Antivirus), but in logs KWF other emails with the same virus blocked. Why? KWF return to antivirus not all files (with registred types: exe, com, zip,...)?

Example, virus W32/Mydoom.o<at>MM!zip in MacAfee base, W32.Mydoom.M<at>mm in Symantec base.

2. On Win200 client computer (others client computers with winXP) don't receive ALL mail by Outlook Express if in one of email consist virus. Solution: turn off antivirus for email Sad

Hi, I have similar problem with KWF 6.0.4, 6.0.5, 6.0.6 + integrated McAfee on Win XP

I receive mail via SMTP. I had about 3 viruses per day. After I disabled inspection module for SMTP, KWF don`t catching about 1 virus per 3 days. In most cases (not All) virus is packed by ZIP and in Security log is line : "Virus: unable to check email From: ...... ", but attachment is OK. If I send the same email again, virus is catched OK.
