Using v9.2.7 on Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS, everything OK, 2TB space for mails, but after enabling data encryption, i see only 16GB of storage space... am I missing something?

Hi

Space is there, it is not used since your mailstore is quite small.

If you want to use more space, you can modify the default behavior by modifying the VolumeSizeAsPercentOfCapacity in mailserver.cfg: section "Directories"

I would never set this value greater than 45 as you need to have free space to decrypt

thanks for explanation... so on 2TB storage, should be 1TB safe for encrypted volume?

Hi

It depends if you see that your mailstore will grow to 1TB of size. I would say 45% is a better size (900GB) since if you want to decrypt this will require an additional 900GB of disk space.
