Hi,

Anyone else with this problem:

[25/Oct/2004 12:45:47] mail_avir.cpp: Cannot open work file d:\kerio\mailserver\store/tmp/417cd94f-00000015/avfile.tmp: (32) The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

The mail is then delivered whith the attachment (and virus)

All running on the same Windows 2003 server.

I have the exact same problem

Kerio suggested that local antivirus realtime/file scanning could cause this.

However this was not the cause in my case.

I am interested to find out what happens with your system.

The last response from Kerio was after I ran a sysdump and they told me they could not identify anything which would cause this problem - I also get a build up of many files in the /tmp folder...

Sorry, but I have first seen your post now so here is my answer.

I have just upgrated to 6.0.4 but I still get this error.

More about my setup:
W2k3 server
kerio mailserver (d:\kerio)
Symantec antivirus 9.0.1.1000 *1
Symantec antivirus scan engine 4.3.1.20 *2

All installed on the same server.

*1
Exclude selected files and folders: d:\kerio\ (and subfolders)
*2
Temporary directory for virus scanning: d:\kerio\scantemp
