We have a strange thing with Kerio 6.3 in combination with Outlook 2000. When a one of my users tries to login with outlook it can't open the Imap but when he logs in to the webmail, there is no problem. The settings of all users are the same, exept that this user has two dot's in its name, like G.W.Bush<at>america.com, could this be the problem ?

Perhaps you are using imap with ssl?

So you must install sertificate from webmail to your browser to get Outlook to work.

You might have better luck using the Kerio Outlook connector instead of IMAP. Just make sure you get the pre-release 6.0.3 for Outlook 2000 which is referenced in the following post:

http://forums.kerio.com/index.php?t=msg&goto=12444&S =042e6f8e3186b0b6b2f5eeb867b98498&SQ=c3dc771c2c293357d56 5d3f1956cfcc9#msg_12444

Outlook's IMAP support is very limited. For exeample, deleted and sent messages are not routed to their IMAP folders. For more information on Outlook's IMAP problems (and deliberate omissions) check out this search of Microsoft's support site:

http://support.microsoft.com/search/default.aspx?mode=s& cat=false&query=outlook+2000+imap&x=8&y=8&sr ch=sup

Kerio Outlook Connector (KOC) has its problems too, so make sure you read up here in the forums first. I have two users actively using KOC with Outlook 2000. I've found they have fewer performance problems when the KOC account is the only item in their folder listing - eg. no local stores present. The users are not 100% satisfied (when are they ever), but they are much happier with KOC than their previous IMAP setup.

Good luck!
