As the subject states, one of our clients has duplicate contacts in the global public folders list. They have multiple domains and are using the global public folders to ensure everyone has access to all addresses.

I have attempted to merge the duplicates with different addresses and remove the addresses of former employees. After a short time, when the server syncs, all of the contacts return.

I have looked through multiple threads and haven't found a resolution to this issue. One thread stated that this is an issue to be resolved in version 9.3, is this still the case? Or has someone else with the issue found an actual fix?
