I set up a trial copy of Winroute Firewall 6.08 on a server and it has been working fine for the past 2 days apart from two issues:

(1) When Winroute is up and running, it makes all modems unavailable to other software, eg winfax. As a result, it takes control of them with no apparent way of releasing them. Hence, how can you have another application which require a modem, such as winfax or pcanywhere, to run simultanesously? Or, how can you release control of them from Winroute?
(2) We have some jetdirect print servers on our network, which cease to function when winroute is activated (the winroute machime act as a print server with all the printer shares), although the applicable rule is Any protocol allowed (internal lan) from any to any station.

Any comments and/or ideas on the above are much appreciated and required!
