I'll add a couple as well. Keep in mind that I have not installed 6.0.4 yet (in 2 hours), but I have heard these items were not fixed.

1) blacklist sites can only block or log. That assumes the blacklist sites are perfect rather than allowing the messages to be marked as "** spam **"... as a third option

2) full backup over 2GB consumes all the CPU power you have (dual processors too)

(We're on Linux)

i'm just testing the software, so i did not open an official ticket, but i wrote an email to the german support. i got an answer with this in the subject: rt ticket #3709
maybe this will help you?

the problem with the german (and other countries) special characters was asked here in this forum a couple of times in the last weeks - and this is very essential for all companies who will use this mailserver. without that, the whole software is useless...

i tested it only with webmail, not with outlook.

our specs are windows 2003 server with kms 6.04 and windows 2000
sp 4 and windows xp sp2 clients with koc 6.04. the mailclient is
ol 2002 (xp) with sp 3.

this is a new bug in 6.04. hello support, please fix it first and
then give us a nightly build, because this one is a killer. some
of our customers company names and surnames are really long ...

- the outlook strg + k feature to autocomplete a receipt doens´t
work anymore. you have to enter the full surname of the
receiptent and then this feature will work. 'kl' for 'klein'
doesn´t - 'klein' worked .

the following bugs were reported to our german distributor
"elephant seven" five weeks ago - and they are still existent.

- as private marked appointments, contacts, etc. in an public
folder are visible for everyone. not like in exchange - where
only the time is reserved and you cannot see the details.

- birthdays before 1970 entered in contacts will not be accepted.
when you reenter the contact this field is blank. also this
birtday will automaticly be entered in the scheduler. but here
it will be set as a today appointment - the scheduler reminder
pops up with an error.

- copy a 'verteilerliste' (group of receiptent), i don´t know the
english word, from one contact folder to another contact folder
will loss all members and the 'verteilerliste' is show as a
normal contact in the destination folder.

- todays todo´s are not visible in outlook today when in the
preferences the flag is set 'only show todays'. show 'all
todos' will show todays.

- contact with categories can not be grouped by categories, you
will only get a list.

a new day - the hope for a new release ...
and better support

It's a different problem. Your ticket is about charset coding in Outlook.

To EPS_: I really can't imagine what is wrong. Description "the german special characters still didn't work" isn't sufficient. Can you provide more informations?

OK.

This reply is created with German keyboard settings and here it works - at least when I write this answer. (Why did they move Y & Z ? :-) )

Yes, it works. I can see german characters in WebMail as well as in Outlook with KOC. See attachment:http://forums.kerio.com/index.php?t=getfile&id=316

It seems the web interface of this forum corrupted charset of your message.

WebMail sends e-mail in standard UTF-8 charset encoding. Is the recipient's e-mail client able to read e-mails in UTF-8?

Hi Pavel

Would it be possible for you to give the forum an update on the Outlook Connector having offline support?

Is the recipient using freemail.web.de? I found out that it doesn't support UTF-8 properly. It's the only client I have seen that has such problems.

If it's some other client, we need to know which one.
