Hi,

i've got a problem with Steam via Winroute. The Login Process creates a lot of connections to the internet and winroute seems not to be able to handle all these connections. The error message in the log is:
[Date] (2:3) Out of free NAT ports: Unable to handle connection "local client ip" -> 195.39.55.5:80
195.39.55.5:80 - various internet servers probably the steam servers
Therefore i cannot use Steam. I always need to restart winroute to get it work again after a steam login. When i restarted winroute steam works properly without any errors anymore. Not restarting winroute causes pings in steam over 1000 and steam doesnt connect to the internet. WinrouteFirewall version i'm testing is 5.1.8.
Do you know how to solve this problem?

Sincerely
Peter Marlton

hi,
problem still exists. I set the connection limit to max 1000 per host. Should be enough and this is the upper limit windows 2000 supports without problems.
Any other solution?
Peter

hi,
i've got some more questions:
1.) How can I change log/temp/quarantine directory
2.) What happens to mails identified as infected? Can the server save them for me on another direcotry than the quarantine? Is it possible, too, to forward the mail to the client when there has been a detecion. Just change Subject?
3.) How can I limit connection speed of specific users? I mean a bandwith limitation.
