Hello there,

I am currently evaluating Winroute for my LAN<->Wan access for multiple users, but I have one problem: the host winroute currently is running on has 2 interfaces, one connected to the lan (1gbit) and one to the wan (100mbit). Internet access etc works fine, but since the machine also acts as file-server for the lan, I noticed that once I move/get file from/to that server, the winroute-process jumps up to 80-100% cpu-usage wise. As soon as the transfer is done, the winroute process drops back to normal cpu-usage. Is it possible to tell winroute to ignore/not screen the lan-traffic?

Best Regards & thanks,

My suggestion:
Don't install KWF in file server. It will degrade data transfer
performance.
Unfortunately, there's no way to tell KWF to ignore LAN traffic...

Search forum about "Slow performance" (Don't know if threads are still
in the web)

Regards,
Anthony
