We just upgraded to KMS 6.0.5 on a test server (Mac OS X 10.2.x) and nothing works as expected. We?re unable to log into the administration interface and mail clients are unable to connect / authenticate.

I could log in to the admin, but all mail accounts couldn't login. I had to reset ALL the passwords on every account. Then it worked. I'm not impressed

Have you tried making a new connection?
If this doesn't work: Open a copy of mailserver.cfg and try and change it here. Stop KMS first!

Could you please gimme the user right setting of your mail file directories. Does all files only belong to "system" and are locked for everyone else?

Change the store directory to an admin user. When you have finished, change the store directory back to 'system' read/write group 'wheel' no access / no access

Hi! I have the same problem. No one is able to login to its postboxes. Even the admin console does not connect: authentication failure. Could anyone help?

Regards,

Oliver

It seems downgrading to 6.0.4 is the only working solution. Version 6.0.5 is the most annoying release ever :-(

Thank god, I first installed it on my test server. I?m very unhappy about version 6.0.5 and a comment / hint from kerio would be nice!!!

KMS 6.0.5 for Mac OS X is not longer available in the download section. KMS 6.0.4 is online for download again. Seems to be a serious problem with this release.

Regards,

Oliver

Good news, bad news... huh?!

It would be better to do some more beta tests with real life users in the future to prevent this kind of experiences, doesn't it?

I suppose your passwords are very old (from KMS 5.x versions), am I right?

Yes, I must confirm there is a problem in KMS 6.0.5 (only Mac version) with passwords taken from old version of KMS.
