I am currently looking at the latest version of Kerio Firewall. I am having a problem FTPing thru the firewall. I have the FTP in both the NAT and FIREWALL rule so it should be working. This is just the demo so I don't know if this is a limitation of the the demo or not.

I know the FTP server is up on the other end, as I have removed the firewall and was able to download the software.

Thanks in advance.

create a traffic rule (FTP from LAN):

name: FTP LAN
source: LAN
dest: internet
service: FTP
action: allow
logging: packets and connection
translation: source nat default outgoing
protocol inspector: default

the rule for FTP from the firewall:

name: FTP
source: firewall
dest: internet
service: FTP
action: allow
logging: packets and connection
translation: none
protocol inspector: default

In ie disable passive ftp (active works better for me)

At FTP policy check if FTP traffic is allowed. If not create a rule that allows you to use FTP. Like traffic rules, FTP rules are checked from top to bottom. So make sure that the allow rule is higher than a deny rule
