I've seen some posts on this subject already, however, never a solid solution or a reason why it does not work

I'm evaluating Kerio once more, and use it as firewall and proxy server (speeds up my internet browsing a lot)

the setup I have is :

Kerio is PROXY :
- non-transparent proxy enabled on port xxxx
- "allow connection to any tcp port"
- forward to parent proxy is enabled
- "set autoamtic proxy script configuration to Winroute proxy server"
- and enabled "Allow browsers to use configuration script automatically via DHCP server in Winroute"

Kerio is CACHE :
- cache enabled on non-transparent proxy and transparent proxy

All my clients get their address via DHCP
all clients browser are set to "Automatically detect settings"

the reason for this setup is performance (I want to maintain the most performant setup possible) and automation (keep client touches to a minimum or almost zero)

All clients/servers are W2K, WXP, W2K3, and some linuxes
the microsoft clients are all using IE to browse the internet

Now when I try to download my hotmail-mail using e.g. outlookexpress, I get the message below :

Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server. Account: "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX", Server: '', Protocol: HTTPMail, Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 12019, Error Number: 0x80004005

when I try to sync, I also get the messages below in the Kerio debug log (with all possible http debugging on)

the "request to" ... is the item which I believe is causing the problem. Now.... what would be the fix?
