Hi!
Can anybody tell me how I have to set up KWF6 for windowsupdate.
It only works on the firewall-machine but it does not work on none of the clients (XP or W2K).
I have disabled all protocol-inspectors on any rules.
Regards
U.

I found some stuff:
1. stop service "automatic updates"
2. Delete all content in the folder %windir%\SoftwareDistribution\Datastore
3. start service "automatic updates"
4. enable UPNP in KWF
5. rerun windowsupdate.
Worked! Shocked

You can also try using the command
proxycfg -u
The service will use the proxy settings. Also you can use bitsadmin.exe to force BITS 2.0 to use a proxy.
