Hi,

Does anyone know how to make KWF not to auto allow packet with syn flag set in tcp packet.
And is it possible to set a rule to match syn flag?

Hello Wiper,

You want to disable the packet inspection part? Reply packets are allowed back and you want to block those? You could try creating a reverse rule that blocks the traffic and place it above the original rule. I think it wil not work, otherwise its a bug in the packet inspection ...

You could try the old version (4.2.5) in that firewall you had to create the reverse rules yourself.

For what reason you want to do that?

Ye i liked the old version Smile there u have to enable all outgoing traffic and probebly the first rule i made was to enable incomming with syn flag set. but anyhow i just want b able to control it...

For security reasons the "auto-enable" stuff is better. Only sync packets that belong to a connection are allowed in. In the old firewall all sync packets where allowed in. There was not a link between them.
