To allow Outlook (Express) from a pc in the LAN to access a mailserver on the internet create the following traffic rule:

name: mail
source: LAN
dest: internet
service: POP3, SMTP
action: allow
log: connection (use packets for debugging)
translation: NAT default outgoing interface
protocol inspector: none (disable the protocol inspector)

The last version of KWF is 6.0.9.

The second question I do not understand.

You could use the VPN client that comes with KWF.
