The type of the folder has been changed to mail. We have had this kind of problem several times, but I have not been able to change the type back to contacts.

To bypass this problem:

1. rename the folder
2. create a new folder which type is contacts or calender
3. move all messges to the new folder via operating system
4. rename index.fld index.bad in the new folder
5. delete the corrupted folder

try logging in the web with the ADMIN user as defined in the console.. I was a little confused about that too, but with a little bit of tinkering figured it out..
