Hi,

I would like to disable the Junk Email folder so no mail goes into this. I cannot see the option to do this. I would still like to use the SPAM filter rating system to mark mail on the header.

How is this done, it must be possible.

Thanks

Jason

I did search this before I posted but changed the search criteria and came up with this (see link at end).

This A solution but I would still like to disable this for all users without going through every single account this way. Can this be done by a modding a configuration script..?

Right I have found out the solution for this myself.

The filters for are stored in each user directory (\Kerio\MailServer\store\mail\DOMAIN\user\filter.siv). Simply deleting this file will not do. As it is recreated with the default value of the Junk-Email folder enabled.

You need to instead replace the original contents fo the file which were;

filter.siv - Orig - Enabled Filter
#!1 Spam
if spamtest {
  fileinto "Junk E-mail";
}

filter.siv - Disabled
#!0 Spam
#if spamtest
#{
#  fileinto "Junk E-mail";
#}
#

This can then be copied into every user directory and saves having to log in and out of every single user account via webmail. You can see that you are switching the filter off with a "0" (zero), the commenting out the rest of the script.

Hope this is of use to someone.

Cheers

Jason
