It it's really bad, since we pay for traffic, and, say, browsing forums without gzip compression means 5-8 times more traffic!
(Like 80kb uncompressed - 10 kb compressed).
As I understand, reasons are same as for Outpost Personal Firewall - it needs 'plain-HTML' files for analyzing (why not download it gzipped, unpack and THEN analyze, though? Proximitron does that...).
But in case of Outpost, gzip can be enabled back up - there is a key in the registry.
The filtering rules get disabled for such pages, but it's a really small issue.
Is there a way to do so for WinRoute?
Or, if not, disable filtering altogether (I hope, that'll bring gzipping up), at least temporally, without shutting down WinRoute itself?
I have Winroute version 6.0.9.
