This error is caused by lack of system resources (free sockets) in most cases. It is discused by detail in this article of Microsoft Knowledge Base:
<a href=" http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q196/2/71.A SP"> http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q196/2/71.A SP</a>.

How often does this problem occur? Can you create this problem on demand by doing some action?

Run netstat -a when the problem occurs. Copy and paste this info and paste it into the reply to this message.

I am here to ask help for exact the same problem.
Here it happens everyday and 90% of the time between 4 and 6 pm.
I will try to do a netstat -a because it is on a remote computer.

Dear fellow,.

I have had this socket failed problem for winroute since early versions of 5 until the new release of 6.0 ..
Well, i emailed kerio support many times, and they always made me make a dump file, then do that fix, ( u know the microsoft usuall fix for ports above 5000 ) and stuff like that.,,. well it all didnt work ,, and it seems the kerio team dont care to fix it..
Has anyone of u managed to find a workaround ??
i would appreciate it..
cause u know, without the Http protocol inspector, kerio firewall is like another ordinary gateway..
thanks
