How many here are using Public folders?

And if you are how large is your structure?

We use a ton of public folders because we are not using the KOC -because it is so slow. I am ready to switch to another Email server if I cannot get Kerio's performance issues worked out.

We are using public folders. We have about 30 and about 10GB of data.

Most of our users are connecting thru IMAP and that is working OK. We have a few machines testing KOC, but are not satisfied and will not roll out KOC now.

We have thousands of folders as each job has three folders - the master, an inbox and a sent box folder and we have hundreds of jobs. I am trying to find better way to handle it using shared folders, but we need to use KOC to do it and KOC is just to darn slow.

Have you looked at any other products? I have considered Merak Mail server, but it is written using the same technology as Kerio (PHP) - so I am not sure we will gain much.

Anyone else have any suggestions??
