Hi all,

Many people expressed the will to synchronize their Palm-based PDA with Outlook / Kerio in these forums ... well, here is how to do it.

Started with a standard, working install of KMS on Windows and KOC 6.0.8 on an Outlook XP patched to the latest SP 3. Palm Desktop version 4.0.1 also installed on the client computer.

I then had to undig an old version of Dataviz Desktop to Go, installed, and it worked fine without any other tweaking. None of the issues I encountered with Chapura Pocket Mirror or other sync software which are not working at all.

The sync is quite slow as all data has to transit on the network to KMS rather than being local, and probably being translated back and forth between palm format, MAPI format, IMAP protocol and Kerio format. But again all works well.

I used Desktop to Go version 2.509, which is dicontinued since 2 years, but you can still download the evaluation version from the vendors website ( This way you can test if it works in your setup. If you then want to buy ... try a software discount store, which often have outdated software on sale, or eBay.

Please note that KOC might also work with 'Beyond Contact', the successor to the Desktop To Go application, but I have not tried it 'cause my PDA is too old to accomodate the system requirements for this new application. Any volunteer wants to give it a try and report back in this thread?
