With KWF 6.0.10 active we cannot access to FTP server nor from LAN nor from firewall.
We've already disabled the protocol inspector but still not working.
If we access to an FTP server then it accept our username and password (or anonymous informations) but if we ask for a LIST or DIR command then we got no response at all (from any FTP server).
In the logs there are no notice.
Deactivating KWF, access from firewall machine to every FTP server work fine.

Have you some ideas?

Bye

Hi,

Make sure that your FTP client is set to work in passive mode - when using
NAT you HAVE to use passive-ftp otherwise it all breaks!

Warm Regards

Shabbir

Checked (with kwf 6.0.10) ftp on intel and acer. Both work (browse directories and download).

Check the ftp policy rules, enable logging (packet) and check the filter log.

I did the check in active mode (passive not enabled in ie).
