Hi all,

Running KWP 6 server or the VPN client installs a VPN adapter that use used to transfer data.

This adapter is affected with a private network adress (under windows XP sp2) by the dhcp client. As a consequence the dhcp client service will check if the adapter gets reconnected every 10s or so. This check will cause disk activity (registry reading, log writing), thus impairing overall performance because .
It is possible to fix this without setting a fixed ip on the interface or disabling it?
