I found an issue when upgrading from ES3 to ES4 with KMS 6.0.8
I did an in place upgrade of the OS to preserve all of my settings and the KMS installation. I don't know if a fresh install would have avoided this situation but here it is:

After the upgrade, all of the outgoing mail was stopped at the server and put in queue because of the virus scanning engine not being able to activate. I use the integrated McAfee engine.
Apparently, it requires the package to be installed and RHEL4 has a newer version. To solve this, I found and installed compat-libstdc++-2.8.0-3860cl.i386.rpm found at at-libstdc++-2.8.0-3860cl.i386.rpm.html

I did a service keriomailserver start and everything is working fine so far. <grin>

Hope this helps someone ...

That's good to know since I plan on upgrading to ES4 soon. I was just waiting for 6.1 to be release and then I was going to upgrade everything at once.

Thanks for the post!

You could be waiting for a while - see related ticket regarding 6.1
