I have setup Kerio 6.0.8 for a trial and everything is looking very good. However, I have had a problem running the intergrated McAfee antivirus update; it fails every time.

I have Kerio installed on a Win XP Pro (SP2) PC with the firewall disabled. Our internet connection runs through an Instagate EX internet appliance which is setup as a proxy server.

In Kerio's Advanced Options - HTTP Proxy settings, I have tried entering the proxy info that works for both Internet Explorer and Mozilla but nothing works for McAfee update. I've tried both port 8080 and 80 as settings but no go.

For testing purposes, I disabled the proxy server on the Instagate unit and removed the proxy config for Kerio. Then the update ran without a snag. This focuses the problem on Kerio's proxy authentication since all our other internet-accessing programs work fine with the proxy.

Has anyone else run into this and/or resolved it?
