Hello all. I have twice over the past four months had this happen. The first time I wasn't certain but when it happened again I realized there was something going on. I'm presently using 5.7 on OSX 10.3, G4 system with 1GB of memory and using Webstar for web hosts with its inbuilt email services turned off. Seems that when I go into Kerio and enable the IMAP feature (I wanted to try it out) that inbound mail no longer appears if its mail that doesn't originate from the server itself. That is to say domain A and Domain B which are hosted on the machine send mail back and forth to each other without any problem and can send mail "outside" of the server but cannot receive and there is no notification or sign in the logs that I can see telling me of a problem with mail coming in. By removing and reloading Kerio and setting things up the way they were before enabling IMAP I'm back in business but once I start IMAP up again the second time months later the exact same thing occured. Simply turning off the feature doesn't fix it. Its broke until a reload. What am I missing here?

Are you sure that 4Dmail mailbox server isn't starting up and binding on port 143 before KMS?

Well, I have 4D Mail deliberately turned off so I'd need to check that out. Though why it became active would be a mystery. It doesn't explain to me how all incoming mail would cease by turning on Kerio's IMAP. Time to investigate some more.
