Hi

Attempting to port from Exchange to Kerio - internal emails have <_at_>unspecified-domain appended to them when emails are copied from Exchange into Kerio.

Is this a 'wait for 6.1' issue - have install 6.09 to test...

Thanks

Dermot

It's not chique or time efficient, but when you use an IMAP client like Outlook Express 6 and move or copy from MSEX to KMS it shows the normal e-mail addresses for internal accounts. If you don't have to move a lot of users or folders (folder copying is not possible in any of the IMAP clients I've used) this works very well. And IMAP is much faster and much more transparent than doing this over the KOC.

Dermon - try asking Kerio support for the updated Migration tool, they have a beta that should take care of this problem. It's the X.400 connector that Exchange uses internal that doesn't write the e-mail address and instead only the name of the user on the Exchange system.
I had the same problem - but had already migrated all my mail, so it was not an option for me to begin all over :-(

Dermot,

If I were you I would stick with exchange...

At least wait & evaluate 6.1 after July/August & decide then!!!

Oh the regrets....,,

Thanks for the feedback - I'll have a go with Outlook Express and let you know. Would use the KOC but we're still on Exchange 5.0 so it's not a runner and even with 6.1 not out, it still seems a better option than attempting to go with MS
