All Mail services stop at random times.
We are running Kerio 5.7.10 on a Windows 2k server.
The server runs fine even the Kerio service appears to be running. The only fix for this is to reboot the server.

Happened to us, also. Mail server was attacked. Reccommend you examine your logs and try to block the offending IPs or subnets, and/or protect Kerio behind a good, hosted anti-spam service. We do this, but there's a few domains that aren't configured yet, and the server continues to get attacked. We also use a DNS IP blocker, and that helps a lot. Write for details if you wish, john<_at_>

We recently upgraded to version 6, but I don't reccommend doing that lightly. I think 5.10 is very, very stable, but certain types of attacks may cause trouble. Our Windows 2K server is firewalled, fully patched, very clean, runs no other software and has no local or remote users. We feel that this is necessary for a mail server.

Kerio doesn't fully make use of the server's power, but it's been getting better at this with each release.
