as far as I know you can not convert from 4.2.x to 6.x. Users and passwords can be used from a domain controller. If you have about 100 clients there is probably a domaincontroller present (asuming windows). Configure to use the domain users and passwords. Users can be imported from the domaincontroller.

You will have to configure 6.0.8 from scratch. The way rules are handled is differend. It will not cost much time if you are used to configuring version 4. Version 6 is easier once you understand how it works. In version 4 you had to define the initiating rule and the response rule (eg one for outgoing request one for incomming response). In version 6 you just define the outgoing rule. The response is allowed only if an outstanding request is present.
Version 6 also has more options (like HTTP/FTP filtering, anti-virus, vpn, ...) wich need configurating.
